When Trish first arrived in New Hope - 3/23/01...

I'm home.

That was how I felt the moment I arrived back in New Hope. In fact, the feeling was so strong that I actually felt shaken.

It's still winter here . . . no sign of spring yet. The trees are bare and the world is in shades of grays and brown, but that doesn't matter. The town has changed a bit, which means I may have to do a bit of editing on the novel.

The Village Market is gone, going to be replaced, no doubt, by a "trendier shop." There's a Star bucks in town now, in the old stone bank building and brand name NY stores have taken hold . . . but even that doesn't matter.

I'm home. _________________________________________________
